Six Days Enduro 2026 in Portugal: shortened day 4, Josep Garcia wins ahead of Verona and Italy stays top of the World Trophy ahead of France.

Key point

On day 4 of the 2026 Six Days Enduro, Josep Garcia won the shortened day, but Andrea Verona and Italy keep the lead.

Day four of the 2026 International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in Grândola, Portugal, was cut short on 15 October: a single loop with three timed tests, because of dust and delayed starts. Spain's Josep Garcia (KTM) won the day, but Italy keeps the lead in the World Trophy.

Garcia wins, Verona stays leader

In the individual results for the day, Josep Garcia beat Italy's Andrea Verona (KTM) by 3 seconds. Verona nevertheless remains top of the overall standings with a 12-second lead over the Spaniard.

  • 1st: Josep Garcia (Spain, KTM)
  • 2nd: Andrea Verona (Italy, KTM), 3 seconds back
  • 3rd: Zach Pichon (France), narrowly ahead of American Grant Davis
  • 5th: Brad Freeman (Great Britain)

World Trophy: Italy ahead of France

In the team standings, Italy is first with a 3 min 39 s lead over France. Sweden is third, ahead of fourth-placed United States, 2 min 41 s behind. Spain is fifth, 17 seconds behind the Americans, and Chile is sixth. On the American side, Steward Baylor (Kawasaki) lost a lot of time in the last test.

Juniors and women

In the juniors, Italy leads the United States by 3 min 36 s, with Spain completing the provisional podium. France lost all chance of the title: Thibault Giraudon (Fantic) retired with a mechanical problem before the first test. Italy's Alberto Elgari won the day, his fourth win in a row according to Dirt Bike Magazine.

In the women's trophy, the United States stay in front with a lead of more than 5 minutes. Brandy Richards won the day, and France is third in the team standings.

Why day 4 matters

Organisers spaced out the starts to limit dust and lengthened the road sections to improve visibility. With the event running until 17 October, the 3 min 39 s gap between Italy and France is the number to watch for the World Trophy title.

What awaits the teams

For day 5, World Trophy and Club riders will follow different courses, with a different order of tests and possible two-way traffic. Dirt Bike Magazine mentions another cut to a single loop as a possibility. In the title fight, every second lost in a test can now weigh heavily.
