The FIM has published the provisional 2027 Sidecarcross World Championship calendar: ten rounds from April to mid-September, opening on the Belgian sand of Lommel on 11 April. The document is dated 5 November 2026 and may still change.

  • 25 April: Geisleden (Germany);
  • 23 May: Plomion (France);
  • 6 June: Karksi-Nuia (Estonia);
  • 13 June: Kramolin (Czech Republic);

Germany and France well represented

Germany hosts three rounds (Geisleden, Strassbessenbach and Rudersberg), the most of any country. France has two, at Plomion in May and Vesoul in September, the penultimate round before the finale at Rudersberg. After Plomion the series heads to Estonia and the Czech Republic, then alternates in summer between Germany, Lithuania and Latvia.

The Netherlands missing

The notable absence for fans in the region: there is no Dutch Grand Prix on the 2027 calendar. In 2026, according to the championship's official website, a round was held at Varsseveld on 12 and 13 September, and Lommel hosted the seventh round on 27 and 28 June. In 2027, Lommel therefore moves from late June to the season opener.

The calendar is officially provisional. The date and venue of the 2027 Sidecarcross & Quadcross of Nations (SQXoN) are not yet known, so watch for further FIM announcements to find out where the nations event will be held.
