The UCI has published the 2027 calendar of the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series, the global circuit for cross-country (XCO, XCC) and downhill (DHI) mountain biking. Ten rounds are planned in eight countries across two continents, with a season that opens in Europe in late May and ends in North America in early October.

What changes from 2026
Cross-country opens the season at Nové Město, a week before downhill gets going. South Korea, which opened the 2026 season, drops off the calendar. The 2026 finals were held at Lake Placid in the United States; in 2027 they are split, with cross-country at Soldier Hollow and downhill at Whistler. That leaves one round outside Europe per discipline, and eight of the ten rounds are held on the European continent.
Les Gets hosts twice: a World Series round in June, then the mountain bike World Championships in August. MTB-News says it is not yet known whether the same courses will be used. Bike Magazine sees the round as an early preview of the Worlds. Val di Sole returns after missing out on hosting the Worlds in 2026.
No enduro in 2027
Enduro is gone: in August, the UCI and organisers announced that 2026 would be the last season of the Enduro World Cup. Crankworx, for its part, has announced its own enduro series. The World Series is now broadcast by EMEA Sports at Skydance, formerly WBD Sports.
