F1H2O: Victory Team Gets Its Own Docuseries, The Blue Dynasty
F1H2O: the Dubai International Marine Club announces The Blue Dynasty, a five-episode docuseries on Victory Team, which won three UIM world titles in 2025.
Key point
The Dubai International Marine Club and Watch My i are making The Blue Dynasty – Made in Dubai, a five-episode series on Victory Team, expected in 2027-2028.
The Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC) and Dubai creative company Watch My i (WMi) announced in Dubai on Tuesday 13 October a docuseries, The Blue Dynasty – Made in Dubai, about Victory Team, the club's professional powerboat racing team. It will have five episodes, according to Powerboat News.
A series still in development
The project is the first fruit of a longer-term agreement between DIMC and WMi. The series is still in development; the announced release window is 2027-2028.
It will trace Victory Team's history from its beginnings through its most successful years, including the setbacks and rivalries. DIMC also plans an ongoing reality series following Dubai's marine sport athletes and teams through their racing seasons.
A strong record in 2025
The timing is no accident: Victory Team won three world titles in 2025:
- the UIM F1H2O Teams' World Championship, in December 2025 in Sharjah;
- the UIM F1H2O World Championship, with Shaun Torrente;
- the UIM XCAT World Championship, with Salem Al Adidi and Eisa Al Ali.
The team defends both F1H2O titles in 2026. Shaun Torrente retires at the end of this season.
DIMC, a club founded in 1988
DIMC was founded in 1988 as the first national institution in Dubai dedicated to developing marine sports. Its chairman highlights the powerboat championships it has hosted, including Class 1, XCAT and Formula 1, as well as jet ski and sailing yacht races. Victory Team has raced for Dubai at world level since the early 1990s.
For the 2026-2027 season, which runs from September to April, the club lists 40 races, championships and events. It says it will take part in and host rounds of the UIM Formula 1 World Championship and the UIM XCAT World Series, without giving the number or dates in the article we consulted.
