Rookies Cup 2027 calendar: from Jerez to Misano

The Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup has published the provisional calendar for its 2027 season, the 21st in its history. The young-rider series opens as usual at Jerez in early May, alongside the Spanish Grand Prix, and finishes at Misano in September.

Seven Grands Prix, 14 races

In total the season features seven Grands Prix and 14 Cup races. The pre-season test comes ahead of the first round and is also held at Jerez, from 19 to 21 April. The selection event for the following season takes place after the final round, on a date that has not been fixed yet.

The provisional 2027 calendar

• Test, Jerez (Spain): 19 to 21 April
• Round 1, Jerez (Spain): 7 to 9 May
• Round 2, Le Mans (France): 14 to 16 May
• Round 3, Mugello (Italy): 28 to 30 May
• Round 4, Assen (Netherlands): 25 to 27 June
• Round 5, Sachsenring (Germany): 9 to 11 July
• Round 6, Spielberg (Austria): 27 to 29 August
• Round 7, Misano (Italy): 10 to 12 September

For fans in Belgium, the Netherlands, France and Germany, the calendar includes three nearby stops: Le Mans, Assen and the Sachsenring. The dates are provisional and may still change.

Eight new riders for 2027

The grid is already taking shape. After the Guadix selection event, which brought together 127 riders from 45 countries, eight young riders were chosen: Mathias Tamburini and Lorenzo Pritelli (Italy), Johann Dubois and Jimmy Primaut (France), Alex Longarela, Alvaro Lucas and Victor Cubeles (Spain), and Alessio Arnold (Switzerland). They join the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup for its 21st season.
