Antron Brown, J.R. Todd, Dallas Glenn and Matt Smith won the NHRA Texas FallNationals, held on Sunday 18 October 2026 at Texas Motorplex in Ennis. It was the 18th of 20 races in the 2026 NHRA drag racing season and the fourth of the six Countdown events.
Top Fuel: Brown ends Langdon's run
In the final, Antron Brown (Matco Tools dragster) beat rookie Maddi Gordon, who left early and was red-lighted. His time: 3.706 seconds at 335.75 mph. It is his second win of 2026, the 83rd of his career and his fourth at Texas Motorplex.
On the way he knocked out Dan Mercier, Leah Pruett and then points leader Shawn Langdon, whose four-race winning streak and perfect Countdown run end there. Maddi Gordon had beaten Shawn Reed, reigning champion Doug Kalitta and Justin Ashley: it is her third final of the season.
Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle
- Funny Car: J.R. Todd (DHL Toyota GR Supra) beat points leader Matt Hagan, who left first but was caught thanks to a .059 reaction time. He ran 3.931 at 331.76 mph, his 24th career win and his first in Funny Car at Dallas.
- Pro Stock: Dallas Glenn (Chevrolet Camaro) beat Matt Hartford with a 6.478 at 212.30 mph. The day before, he had set the class record with a 6.434 at 213.50 mph, the quickest run in the history of the class, which earned him the top qualifying spot.
- Pro Stock Motorcycle: Matt Smith (Buell Denso Auto Parts) beat points leader Richard Gadson with a 6.660 at 203.08 mph. Gadson was actually quicker (6.654 at 203.79 mph), but Smith had the better reaction (.006). It is his fourth win of 2026 and the 46th of his career.

- Top Fuel: Langdon leads Kalitta by 139 points; Brown is third, 224 points back.
- Funny Car: Hagan stays on top; Jordan Vandergriff is 98 points back and Todd 119.
- Pro Stock: Glenn moves back into the lead, 14 points ahead of Greg Stanfield; Hartford is 41 points back.
- Pro Stock Motorcycle: Gadson leads; Gaige Herrera is 58 points back and Smith 85.
