Six Days Enduro 2026 in Portugal: Zach Pichon wins day 5, Spain sets the fastest team time and Italy keeps the World Trophy lead ahead of the Sines finale.

Key point

On the last day of special tests at the 2026 Six Days Enduro, Zach Pichon wins the day, but Italy keeps the World Trophy lead going into the Sines motocross.

The fifth day of the 2026 Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in Portugal was the last one devoted to special tests. Frenchman Zach Pichon won the day in the individual standings, but Italy keeps the World Trophy lead ahead of Saturday 17 October's motocross races in Sines.

Pichon ahead of Garcia on day 5

The organisers changed the schedule: Trophy riders completed one loop and five special tests, with a 90-minute break during the day. Club riders followed the same route but completed only three special tests.

Individual results for the day:

  • 1st: Zach Pichon (France)
  • 2nd: Josep Garcia (Spain)
  • 3rd: Brad Freeman (Great Britain)
  • 4th: Andrea Verona (Italy)
  • 5th: Grant Davis (United States)

The five special tests produced five different winners: Josep Garcia, Andrea Verona, Zach Pichon, Grant Davis and, in the last test, Brad Freeman, for his first test win of the event.

Garcia closes in on Verona

In the individual overall standings, Josep Garcia took more time out of Andrea Verona. The Spaniard started the week 29.89 seconds behind the Italian and goes into the final day just 9.95 seconds back, according to MX1Onboard.

World Trophy: Italy ahead, Spain fourth

In the team standings, Italy leads by nearly three minutes over France. Sweden is third. Spain, which set the fastest team time of the day with a 47-second margin over France, moves past the United States into fourth, with the Americans dropping to fifth.

Juniors and women

In the Junior World Trophy, Italy leads the second-placed United States by nearly three minutes. Spain is third and consolidates its place on the provisional podium.

In the Women's World Trophy, the United States has a lead of about six minutes over Australia, with France third. Brandy Richards won the day again, 28 seconds ahead of Australia's Danielle McDonald.

What is still at stake in Sines

The Six Days, which are celebrating their 100th edition, finish with the motocross races on the beach at Sines, about 40 minutes from the Grândola paddock. The team standings are provisional: with gaps of around three minutes at the top and a tight fight for the World Trophy podium, those final races can still change the order.
