German brand Opel has unveiled the final race livery of the GSE 27FE, the car it will use for its Formula E debut. The Opel GSE Formula E Team fields Mitch Evans and Théo Pourchaire for the 2026/27 season, with the first races of the Gen4 era scheduled for 18 and 19 December in Jeddah.

A black, silver and yellow livery

The Opel GSE 27FE builds on the testing livery and refines it. It is made up of three colour blocks: black, silver and yellow, a nod to Opel's historic racing liveries, according to RacingNews365. A metallic silver stripe runs down the centre of the car and acts as its visual spine.

The “Lightspeed Stripes”, pixelated lines first seen on the Mokka GSE Rally in 2025, cover the bodywork, while the bright yellow accents are named “Opel GSE Yellow”. The design comes from the brand's design team in Rüsselsheim, Germany. The livery was revealed ahead of the car's presentation at the Paris Motor Show.

  • Mitch Evans (New Zealand) leads the team. He has 16 wins in Formula E, making him the series' most successful driver according to RacingNews365, and arrives from Jaguar TCS Racing after ten years with that team. He praised the new livery.
