Fenix Rally 2026: Jeremy Knuiman wins the bikes ahead of Justin Gerlach, Vincent Thijs the cars, Pierre Lafay the SSVs. Final results and L'Oasis' Tunisian debut.

Key point

Jeremy Knuiman (KTM) wins the 2026 Fenix Rally in the bike class in 28:02:24.31, just ahead of Justin Gerlach; Vincent Thijs wins the cars and Pierre Lafay the SSVs.

The 2026 Fenix Rally has ended in Monastir, Tunisia. In the bike class, Dutchman Jeremy Knuiman (KTM 450 EXC) beat Justin Gerlach. Vincent Thijs (Toyota Hilux) won Car Open and Pierre Lafay (Can-Am Maverick R) the SSVs. Alongside it, L'Oasis L'Original Classic, for older vehicles, held its first Tunisian edition.

Bikes: Knuiman edges Gerlach

In the final Enduro classification Knuiman totals 28:02:24.31, against 28:05:59.61 for Gerlach (KTM 450 Rally Factory Replica). Daan Veenendaal completes the podium in 29:10:10.60.

The finish played out over three days:

  • Stage 5: in the soft fesh-fesh dunes around Douz, Gerlach takes the stage. Knuiman loses time in the soft sand, and his navigation tablet fails.
  • Stage 6: rain makes the Chott impassable and the race is neutralised at kilometre 108. Knuiman sets the best time; Gerlach makes a navigation error. The Dutchman retakes the lead with more than six minutes in hand.
  • Stage 7: a final 83-kilometre loop around Monastir, briefly neutralised. Knuiman only has to defend his lead.

In the quads, Adam Krysiak (Polaris Scrambler) wins in 29:56:18.99, ahead of Karol Slugocki (31:45:36.93).

Cars, SSVs and trucks

  • Car Open: Vincent Thijs wins in 27:01:03.39, with four stage wins. Runner-up in 2025, he beats Vincent Vroninks (27:33:22.97) and Antoine Deleporte (30:56:51.45).
  • Car Limited: Karim Benhassan Krayem (Toyota Land Cruiser 79) wins in 33:10:24.73.
  • SSV: Pierre Lafay finishes in 25:18:35.63, ahead of Nicolas Martinez (26:15:22.75) and Riccardo Benettolo (26:35:06.50).
  • Trucks: Paolo Calabria (MAN TGA) wins in 38:39:27.52, ahead of Stella Körber (47:56:03.96).

L'Oasis' first time in Tunisia

L'Oasis L'Original Classic, organised by Gilles Girousse with RBI Sport, ran alongside the Fenix Rally. Stages 2 and 5 were diverted because the dunes were too big and too hard for the older cars. Among the class winners:

  • up to 1985: Philippe Dupuis (Toyota), 45:31:52.74;
  • up to 1995: Serge Mogno (Toyota Land Cruiser HZJ80), 29:13:51.79;
  • up to 2005: Alain Coquelle (Bowler), 25:32:37.34;
  • Open: Rémy Chapot (BMC), 25:50:39.81.

On to the Africa Eco Race

Class winners Pierre Lafay (SSV) and Jeremy Knuiman (Enduro), as well as Serge Mogno and Alain Coquelle, get 25 % off their 2027 entry to the Africa Eco Race. Other entrants get 10 %.

Some published time tables contain clearly erroneous values; we only use consistent results.
